This dashing rogue happens to be my father-in-law, who graciously lets me dress him for our Renaissance fair. I’d been wanting to make him new garb for the last two seasons, but it took me forever (my typical timeframe, apparently!) to decide what I wanted to make. This spring I finally hit on the shorter doublet from the reliable Simplicity 4059, with (of course!) some tweaks.
The good folks at RF.com have asked for a reversible doublet tutorial, and I will make an effort to oblige them here. Stay tuned!
